I don't find this. With kdegraphics-kfile-plugins installed, right-clicking on a file, choosing "Properties", I get a tab called Meta Info, which allows me to edit/set properties for JPEGs, PNGs, etc. If I uninstall kdegaphics-kfile-plugins, and restart Gwenview, I lose this tab. How are you editing the meta info? Perhaps there is a different interface for this that I've forgotten about.
