One way to try to reproduce this is: - Put the respective nedit window to the front using functionality of the window manager (I use KDE and use the Window lists in the taskbar).
- do not click into the window! - try CTRL-F etc. (in my version it opens the Search-Window, but you cannot type in it) - Close it with window manager functionality (Escape won't work as it doesn't accept Keyboard input) - Klick into the nedit-Window - Try the same and it works! This happens with an older version of nedit (5.2), but might do the same for your problem. Jochen Am Samstag, 27.
