Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of benchmark the autopkgtest of pytorch fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of benchmark from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form:

                       pass fail
benchmark from testing 1.8.3-1
pytorch from testing 2.0.1+dfsg-5
all others from testing from testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. This looks very much like benchmark dropped a symbol from its shared library without a SONAME bump. Can you please investigate and clarify? Currently this is blocking the migration of benchmark to testing, as I reported in bug 1056202, but because benchmark is a key package, that didn't lead to its removal.

The release team has also received a request to rebuild ros2-performance-test-fixture (bug 1057304), so it seems more packages are affected.

Paul
