That might indeed not be a bad idea. By the way, I also noticed there is still 31_aide_php7 and its rules seem to conflict with rules in 31_aide_php-common, so I guess 31_aide_php7 can be dropped. I'm currently also making some new configuration files for other services and I am happy to contribute them if you are interested. What would be the best way to send them?
