Package: libtrine-rdf-perl Version: 1.019-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Just a note from upstream, librdf-trine-perl does not actually depend on redland-bindings for anything serious. It does not declare a dependency itself, it is just that some users may want to use Redland as a backend, and therefore, there are some tests that runs in that case. I'd like to recommend for Debian that rather than remove librdf-trine-perl, the Build-Deps on redland-bindings is removed. There's some more documentation at https://metacpan.org/pod/RDF::Trine::Parser::Redland but I believe the library will Just Work without the Build-Deps.
