From what I read from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ncurses , currently Ubuntu is no longer carrying patches for src:ncurses after 2022. Obviously this bug report ( https://bugs.debian.org/857003 ) is no longer useful. Probably it's time to close it? Thanks, Boyuan Yang
