I don't have precise numbers, but in my impression xpdf 3.04+git20240118 (which contains Adam's text search fix and is uploading as I write this, so will take a few hours before being available for download) has become a bit faster searching through large documents. When convenient, could you check again with the same document, so we know for sure? Thanks, Florian
