Package: amanda-server
Version: 1:2.5.0-2
Severity: normal

When upgrading to 2.5, suddenly AMANDA cannot read from my tapes:

All of these tapes work fine when I downgrade to stable, 2.4.4p3.
strace'ing the process, it receives EINVAL on the read() call to the
tape drive, attempting to read 256k from it. The tape drive is set to
variable block size (both 'mt setblk 0' and 'mt defblksize 0' were
called on the tape device).

amlabel also receives similar errors when trying to read or verify the
tape label, but also works in 2.4.4p3.

The tapes are Exabyte Mammoth tapes, used in an Exabyte EXB-480
carousel.
