     `man sscanf` starts the english man-page for LIB-C sscanf function
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
     `man sscanf`
   * What was the outcome of this action?
     man page in english language
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
     man page in german language
   * version 4.18.1-1~bpo11+1 works as desired
