Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation?
Opened a .deb file from file manager / browser
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
Edited /usr/share/applications/gdebi.desktop and replaced the line "Exec=gdebi-
gtk %f" with "Exec=gksudo gdebi-gtk %f"
* What was the outcome of this action?
GDebi now installs the package as expected after prompting for sudo
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Unsure why GDebi would instantly close instead of displaying an error about
lack of priviledge
