Looks like a duplicate of https://bugs.debian.org/1062262 Now, we have (only in git for now): pipewire-jack: This package contains a plugin for JACK applications to output via PipeWire. libspa-0.2-jack: This package contains a plugin to make PipeWire able to connect to a JACK server, which will be used for audio playback and recording. I guess it makes things clearer? Feel free to create a merge request to improve the description. > But I learned that JACK client applications can not connect to pipewire-jack > when libspa-0.2-jack is not installed. Heu no, I just tried to remove libspa-0.2-jack, then run (after a reboot) $ pw-jack sndfile-jackplay my_random_wave_file and it works. Best, Dylan
