Hi,

Thank you for the bug report and the reference to the PR against
snappy-java.  It would be helpful if upstream would include this in a
tagged release.

In the meantime, we can patch the build system for snappy-java to
support building JNI bindings for loong64.  We don't require the
libsnappyjava.so.  That'll be built and link to the loong64 build of
snappy [1].
