Hi, I have no idea how to check what changes have been made due to the poor UX of the debian website. I would just like to point out that the correct way to disable the update checker is to pass -DENABLE_UPDATE_CHECKER=0 to cmake. You don't need to patch defaultsettings.cpp or minetest.conf
