Additionally (but did not have time to look at it yet), I'd like this line:
$(foreach d,$(USR_MERGE),ln -s usr/$(d) debian/base-files/$(d) &&) :
to be a "shell" for instead (similar to the way debian/triggers is created).
The foreach feature is perfect in the dh_installdirs line, but in this case,
I would prefer shell code, for readability.
BTW: I am completely ok that we wait until the t64 transition is finished.
