Package: planner-doc Version: 0.14.91-2 Followup-For: Bug #1042865 X-Debbugs-Cc: tommy.boll...@gmail.com
Dear Maintainer, Not only are the files missing, but the doc viewer that runs internally in Gnome Planner arent able to read the Docbook format of the planner.xml that was present from Gnome Planners Homepage (planner-0.14.06.tar.xz ). The problem is, that no images is loaded into the file, even when I have download and installed with the correct rights into /usr/share/gnome/help/planner/C and likewise/eu directories. I have compared the file planner.xml with synaptic.xml, and I see that images are tried to be loaded with a "graph" tag in planner.xml, whereas images are loaded with an "ImageObject" tag in Synaptic iirc. My personal fix, has been to cd into the directory with planner.xml and execute "yelp planner.xml", that works. *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I think what has led up to this situation was the ditching of autotools. I think that there is a newer version of the docbook reader now, and that this will lead to a rewrite of planner.xml. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? See above. * What was the outcome of this action? Success. * What outcome did you expect instead? That I had to do more to make it work. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.5 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.17-01102-gd3cec3c11146 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) planner-doc depends on no packages. planner-doc recommends no packages.
