Package: base-files Version: 13.2 Followup-For: Bug #885414 Dear Maintainer,
I'd like to point out that the "fix" doesn't actually fix the reported problem. Variables that must be quoted in order to have a well-defined behavior are still not quoted, namely the "$i" is not quoted. See the very first message in this thread for patch. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.7.12-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages base-files depends on: ii mawk [awk] 1.3.4.20240123-1 base-files recommends no packages. base-files suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
