Thanks for updating the package. I saw the notification but didn't get
to check the package in detail.

I intend to use it in livi (this is from C) which (very) recently gained
that ability (https://gitlab.gnome.org/guidog/livi/-/merge_requests/51)
so we'd want the gstreamer plugin as well.

Yes, this is needed to get zero copy for hw accelerated video
playback. Although for initial testing of the package that would not be
needed.
