Bug#1070974: network-manager-gnome: do not show local ethernet connection

I removed the file:
/etc/network/interfaces.d/enp5s0

then:
$ sudo service networking restart

$ sudo nmcli device set enp5s0 managed yes


but:
$ nmcli device

still say unmanaged and no ethernet conection in the Network manager icon
