This is completely normal with no issue. No package depends on package hardinfo
so your title makes no sense. It is package hardinfo that depends on hardinfo2.
Uninstalling package hardinfo will not affect the status of hardinfo2.

That being said, you should explicitly mark package hardinfo2 as
manually-installed to ensure that it will not be removed with "auto autoremove".

Since the title of your bug report is not the fact, I am considering that the
report is invalid and closing this bug. If you have any other valid concerns,
please feel free to open a separate bug report.
