Hi, Just ran across the notification of deprecation when upgrading Proxmox v2 to v3. We also use QUOTAUSER in multi-user systems in a post-secondary environment. While we can modify our account creation process to manually set the quota using "edquota -p foo bar", having the QUOTAUSER option configured ensures no accounts get created without a quota set (as another submitter mentioned).
If this option does get deprecated after bookwork then we will adapt. However, it is convenient to have the option available.
