I see that m2r is dead upstream: https://github.com/miyakogi/m2r "This repository has been archived by the owner on Nov 17, 2022. It is now read-only." It is keeping another 'dead battery' inside debian: 'mistune0', which is a snapshot of ancient 'mistune' package under another name. I've fixed 2 rdeps today and filed to bugs for 2 others. https://github.com/CrossNox/m2r2 : this might need an ITP or not, only a few project switched to this. greetings
