This may be fixed in the next upload. I'm currently running an unofficial 4.8.0 package, and I cannot duplicate the problem there. When we upload 4.8.1, I'll let you know and you can see if you can still duplicate the problem. It _might_ be related to differences in environment, so if you can reproduce in a clean debian sid or trixie environment (including a current kernel), that might be informative. d
