The first test run on debian infrastructure found out that fsck is indeed broken on s390x and all other big-endian architectures. There are some patches upstream that are going to be included in the next release addressing this: https://github.com/exfatprogs/exfatprogs/pull/270

dist tarball, so that the patch can be dropped in the next release.
