During a system upgrade on Debian Sid, I encountered an issue with initramfs-
tools. The error occurs when update-initramfs tries to generate the new
initramfs image, specifically related to symbolic links in
/usr/sbin/reiserfsck. The error output is in German, and it seems that the
process fails due to "too many levels of symbolic links." This prevents the
update from completing successfully.
