the dracut upstream ships kernel-install files to be installed in prefix/lib/kernel/install.d. These files are not included in the debian package. This hinders using kernel-install to rebuild initrds / UKIs using dracut easily, since you need to manually copy these files to affected machines. These files are listed in debian/not-installed but I can't see from the git history why they are being excluded.
