If there are any interested developers, it may make sense to
completely decouple mu-editor (which is still active upstream, has a
decent popcon, and does not _need_ micropython) from the unbuildable
firmware-microbit-micropython and its abandoned build system.

Whilst the yotta build system for firmware-micropython-microbit seems
mostly abandoned upstream - meaning any packager becomes the de facto
maintainer - there has been a new release of Micropython for the
micro:bit. However, this does not build [0] on recent arm gcc
releases, and this has been the case for over a year.

It's all very frustrating, and things (including me...) were in a much
healthier state 6 years ago when I started packaging this suite.
