Package: python3-convertertools Version: 0.5.0-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
The python3-convertertools package in debian has different source code from the same version of the upstream package. More specifically, the debian package is currently version 0.5.0-2 which should correspond to upstream version 0.5.0, but instead the debian source code actually corresponds to version 0.4.1 of the upstream source code. For example, "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/convertertools/__init__.py" has: __version__ = "0.4.1" and then corresponding code from upstream version 0.4.1. This is true for other files as well. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-21-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages python3-convertertools depends on: ii libjs-sphinxdoc 7.4.7-3 ii python3 3.12.6-1 python3-convertertools recommends no packages. python3-convertertools suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
