Debian friends - Bug #1069424 yosys: FTBFS on armhf appears to be documentation-related, and found in version yosys/0.33-5.
I note that there is a changelog item for yosys-0.40: Major documentation overhaul. It would make sense to try updating to that version -- or 0.44, as noted on the Debian yosys tracker page, or 0.45, as released on github https://github.com/YosysHQ/yosys on Sep 3, 2024. Even if there are still documentation bugs there, they will be new and exciting bugs, that upstream might pay attention to. - Larry
