This is no defect, rather a wishlist item, IMHO.
well, some of the patches makes wpa_supplicant work on some machines. So
in some cases, they might be useful or even required.
well wpasupplicant is useless w/ orinoco w/o the wep-key-fix patch - if
you consider that wishlist...

I do not object to you reporting this, and I _really_ do appreciate your
interest.
I just do not know how to react to a report that basically informed us
that Fedora have a patch series against wpa_supplicant (no version) that
fixes some problems (that are not described). Just need some more
specific information please.
