Package: dracut-config-rescue Version: 105-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
/usr/lib/dracut/dracut.conf.d/50-rescue.conf, shipped since 105-1, has the following content: dracut_rescue_image="yes" hostonly="no" add_dracutmodules+=" rescue " uefi="no" kernel_cmdline=" rd.auto=1 " Only the first and third line are related to rescue initrd generation. The others apply to all initrds. The "hostonly" setting for example directly overrides the debian default of "yes" shipped in /etc/dracut.conf.d/10-debian.conf I checked both on RHEL 9 and Fedora 41 and neither of them actually ship this file. Their dracut-config-rescue package only adds the dracut_rescue_image="yes" setting. Could you please revert this change?
