No ... this is exact the problem. The moment I rebuilt (and installed) the
/qt6-webengine /
packages (with /libasound2/ support), the /Falkon/ miracously had sound. I
checked this ever and
ever again. The result is the same. Even the other dependencies remain the same.

Which version of the /Falkon/ are you using? One of the older versions (with
the /qtwebengine5/
backend)? These all had sound support. The the package /libqt5webenginecore5
/package /was/
built with /libasound2/ support.

May be you are using some obscure other utility (like, e.g. a sound server).
But this is nothing
for me, because what can a sound server what ALSA cannot do? Additionally, i
had bad
experiences with sound servers - especially the PULSE sound server. Why are you
Debian people
trying to force me upon using such a program? ALSA is - and will - always be
the fundament of
sound processing on Linux.

The additional dependencies for using /libasound2/ are minimal. Why thus
removing it from the /
qt6-webengine/ package? It is built with /libasound2 /support anyway ... except
for people who
remove the /libasound2-dev/ from their Debian installations.

(Sorry for the double negation in my original BUG report - I was a bit tired
when I wrote it.)
