It seems to me the comment in /etc/default/hylafax
("/usr/sbin/faxmodem is deprecated") implies that faxgetty should be
used in preference to faxmodem in all cases. So either the comment or
the behavior of faxaddmodem needs to change. I.e., if faxmodem is
deprecated, faxaddmodem shouldn't ever set it up. If faxmodem remains
appropriate, or at least non-deprecated, for some uses, then the the
comment in /etc/default/hylafax should be different.

It might be good to say a bit more about it, though README.Debian
already addresses this issue in section 2 (at least with 4.2, which is
what I currently have access to).

But there is another issue, which I described earlier. I think either
the behavior of faxaddmodem or the comment in /etc/default/hylafax
needs to change.
