It hasn't yet been archived, but now that neither Builder nor Sysprof is using it, that seems unlikely to be far away. The only two packages in Debian that still use it are - gitg, which if I'm reading correctly has a single call to Dazzle.pango_font_description_to_css() which could likely just be copied into the gitg codebase; - gnome-photos, which makes non-trivial use of it
