Hi Oliver, There's no urgent need to upload, since the new python-numeric provides both python2.3-numeric and python2.4-numeric as it should (see Provides field). There are others python2.4-* dependencies in gnome-sudoku, and the concept is the same. I will do my best to avoid python-foo uploads without the right Provides field. Btw, i'm a Debian Python Modules Team member too. FYI, i'll just close this bug when i got rid of the python2.4-* dependencies in gnome-sudoku.
