If there is ever going to be something like a CDBS 2 rewrite, then the makefile variable namespaces can be considered. But I think starting a new naming scheme right now in the midst of some other transition, which will be tricky enough, would just be messy. And it won't actually solve the problem at hand. I'm still not seeing the actual bug here. There could be any number of makefile helpers available for Debian. That doesn't mean that they all have to work together. Certainly the fact that cdbs and module-assistant cannot work together does not have a "major effect on the usability" of the cdbs package, or of the module-assistant package for that matter. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
