reassign 373196 mule-ucs retitle 373196 Unexpected behaviour change with regard to Unicode support thanks
Just after sending this BR, I finally found that it really belongs to mule-ucs. This seems to be an unexpected change of behaviour, breaking the principle of least surprise and which should at least have been listeed in NEWS.Debian..... And, BTW, *this* doesn't work: (require 'un-define) (set-coding-priority-list '(utf-8)) (prefer-coding-system 'utf-8)
