Hello Kamaraju, I am unable to reproduce your problem. Taking your steps takes me to the expected result of the parentheses becoming larger to span the whole fraction. Neither do I get the result as seen on your screenshot by opening your test.tm file. It just looks like expected: the parentheses are large to span the fraction. To me, this sounds (a wild guess) as if the graphics for large parentheses are missing. My assumption is some breakage in your TeX installation. However, I have the same TeTeX packages installed on my system as you have. Did you manually change anything in your TeX distribution? Does cleanly reinstalling it and TeXmacs probably solve the issue? However, the bug you are reporting seems to be already known at http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=14923 It has a screenshot that is very similar to yours and has already been reported in November 2005, so other people seem to be able to reproduce it.
