Wow, that was quick! The `su nobody -c "hostname --fqdn"` is actually being executed by Sys::Hostname::Long. I reported this as a bug upstream:
http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=19932 I hope testing can be re-enabled as soon as a fixed version of libsys- hostname-long-perl gets into Debian!
