reopen 611544 thanks As the po plugin was accepted again after clarifying the license, this wishlist bug is again applicable.
Unfortunately, the patch is not fully working for me, thus I don't
suggest to include it as is, but if someone is able to get it working
properly, I think quite a few translators would be very happy about
it.
