Hi, On a tanget to this bug: this package is maintained in Salsa, and the original build failure is visible when CI runs in https://salsa.debian.org/otto/mat2/-/pipelines/850962, and the fact that the new change fixed the first issue but revealed another is visible in https://salsa.debian.org/otto/mat2/-/pipelines/850963.
This change was submitted as patch in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1101130 and uploaded via DELAY/2. There was no MR before or after the upload, and no CI runs. I submitted Gregor's change as a MR now at https://salsa.debian.org/pkg-privacy-team/mat2/-/merge_requests/4 so it is easy for Georg to merge and include in version control. Please run Salsa CI at least once before the next upload to catch potentially easily testable regressions.
