Hmmm.... I thought we convinced you not to recommend using immodule.
The only benefit of using immodule is location of selection window for
me and it is too small gain when looking at statement in README.Debian
and README.GTK in scim package. Ming clearly states not to use immodule
as the lead scim package maintainer. Let me quote:

> The package scim-gtk2-immodule provides GTK IM mode for SCIM.

In README.GTK, his comment over the improvement of 1.4.3 is very insightful.

If you still insist SCIM needs to be offered as immodule under X (we are
not under Windows) as the system default for scim-anthy after reading
these, please come up with quotable explanation which I can put in the
changelog or README.Debian.

(The dead-key issue was also mentioned before on immodule.)

I will add configurastion for immodule in scim package as
"scim-immodule" if your good explanation comes. One configuration
should be enough. Please do not make the choice of im-switch to be
noisy one by offering many scim-anthy, scim-skk, .... etc. which do the
same things.

Please use my new 1.4.4-3 package of SCIM and tell me what you lost
using SCIM via XIM.

Osamu
