I'd love to empower you to be more self-confident in to try again. ;-) I'd recomment to create a login at https://salsa.debian.org (in case you do not have one yet) and tell me your login name. I would add you to the project so you get push permissions. Or you even might work via MR in case this makes you more confident. Please make sure you ping me in both cases via e-mail.
