Package: ifupdown Version: 0.6.7 Followup-For: Bug #347580
I have also encountered this issue here. It might seem strange to try to bring down one interface when another is bought up/down, but it is imporant for some types of interfaces. In particular, it'd be extremely useful for bridge interfaces, which require the loopback interface to be bought down only after the bridge interface. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-2-686-smp Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages ifupdown depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30.13 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii net-tools 1.60-10 The NET-3 networking toolkit -- debconf information: ifupdown/convert-interfaces: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
