We're about to try to parse gbp.conf too. Presumably in git-deborig?
We could ask the devscripts maintainers to split it out into a .deb.
Or we could reimplement our own. Or we could (controversially
perhaps) *move* the functionality to git-debpush and have devscripts
depend on it.
