Package: gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng Version: 48.1.0-1 Severity: important
My desktop icons have suddenly disappeared, perhaps having to do with the update two days ago to this package. My system is up-to-date from Trixie. I've tried turning the desktop-icons-ng extension off and back on, logging out and logging back in, and restarting, none of which has brought back my icons. Other extensions I have installed are working fine. I also tried opening the settings for the desktop-icons-ng extension from inside the extensions app, and nothing happens, i.e., the settings don't open. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.0 APT prefers testing-security APT policy: (500, 'testing-security'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/20 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.40.0-5 ii gir1.2-gnomeautoar-0.1 0.4.5-2 ii gir1.2-gnomedesktop-3.0 44.3-3 ii gjs 1.82.3-1 ii gnome-shell 48.3-1 ii nautilus 48.3-2 gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng recommends no packages. gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
