I wonder if this, and the previous stdout/stderr linking problem I previosuly reported might be the result of using crosshurd for the install. Anyhow, it might be a good idea to redo those equivs and links in maintainer scripts, if found in an unexpected state, upon upgrade. Martin-Éric
