Package: evince
Version: 43.1-2+b1
Control: affects -1 ntfs-3g

The package ntfs-3g version 1:2022.10.3-1+deb12u2 is installed.

From an xterm with zsh, in a directory on an NTFS drive (not reproducible with
/tmp (tmpfs) or with /home/username (ext4) for me), I opened a PDF file with
evince and saved (by overwriting) the file. As a result, an empty file
.goutputstream-L5QY82 appeared in the same directory as the PDF file. In
evince, I saved the PDF file to the same file name again. This time, an empty
.goutputstream-9XL282 appeared. When evince was shut down, the empty
.goutputstream-… files remained. It seems to me that new empty files appear on
every overwriting.

I expect that the temporary files get cleaned up automatically or are not
created in first place at all – leftover garbage is a bug.
