I've installed gnome-user-share package, which creates an apache2 DAV share from user's ~/Public folder. This works perfectly with Nautilus for moving, copying and deleting files. However, when I create a directory in it (e.g. ~/Public/MyDir), Nautilus can't access it, saying that the directory has a MIME type "application/octet-stream". Other DAV-enabled applications can access the subfolders. Konqueror works, even gnomevfs-ls handles the subdirectory correctly (lists its contents). Changing file permisssions of the dir makes no difference.
