Package: tango-db X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] Severity: normal
The tango-db systemd service script requires mariadb. Although it is the most common setup to have both tango-db and mariadb-server on the same host, we also support having them on separate hosts. So maybe a debconf question which defaults to the common setup? A related problem with the systemd service script is that it does not depend (Wants and After) on network-online.target. So if the TANGO_HOST is a DNS address tango-db startup fails. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.1 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.48+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/128 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
