Hello jean-Marc,

i can't reproduce your problem.

I did the following test:

I use forky (Debian - testing)

I am using sid.

I updated to thunderbird 140.5 which is in testing since today

i wrote an test email signed and crypted - all things worked well as the years before (around version 78)

I use a cryptostick with my gpg key

I use a local gnupg key from my home directory.
Do you also set openpgp.allow_external_gnupg to true ?

The same way I sign this email

Errors in console mentioned GPGME.

Packages libgpgme11t64 (1.24.2-3) and libgpgmepp6t64 (1.24.2-3) are replaced with libgpgmepp7 (2.0.0-2) libgpgme45 (2.0.1-2,) in sid.

I guess in forky you still have previous versions.

Regards

Mechtilde
